Commission (1): For Black8FeetThe kingdom of Limbous was a peaceful one inside the stable walls. The kingdom was split with the large brick walls surrounding the large castle and the residents of the kingdom. The rougher population lived just outside these walls to keep away from the soldiers patrolling the streets and alleyways of the rougher parts of the kingdom. Yes, there were slight dark parts of the kingdom way from the caste, pushed against the wall of the kingdom. It was this way so that the outlaws of the land could sneak in and out without alerting the guards of their presence. These places could be found down the narrow alleyways where the rougher folk would gather. The taverns were placed here as they were as run down as the houses beside them. However this was just the dark side and there was so much radiant light in the large kingdom. The light seemed to cascaded across the beautiful land, more so when the beautiful princess Alexandra was born in the queen and king. The kingdoms population was a varied
Comic: Moon Issue 1 ReviewMoon was one of the first independent comics I got my hands on and I must say it really lives up to the hype surrounding at my local comic store. Published by Beyond the Bunker and illustrated as well as written by Dan Thompson and Steve Penfold, who are both lovely people, I must say.
The comic series follows Moon: An eternal guardian spirit of the moon who was bound to a mortal body after being summoned a thousand years prier by Celtic Druids. It cuts to the present day in London and Moon is working within the law enforcement industry, investigating a murder, but does this fantasy and real life collaboration really work?
I can confidently say yes, it does. In fact I’m so confident in this issue and I will explain why. For the first half of the issue is set a thousand years in the past to show how moon was bound to a human and why this was necessary, however I feel as if the explanation was rushed and the pacing of the flashback didn't balance out with the present day port
Minecraft 360 Edition Skyrim Mash up Pack ReviewA new add-on to the famous Minecraft – Xbox 360 edition was released on the 29th November. It was based on the fifth title of the Elder Scrolls series: Skyrim. The pack included a brand new exclusive skyrim-themed texture pack. Forty new character skins, themed menus as well as a themed user-interface, twenty soundtracks from the original Skyrim game and a pre-made world that included Riverwood, Whiterun and Bleaks Falls Barrow.
This mash up pack brought together two of my favorite games which was too hard to resist, after playing this pack for many hours I came to the conclusion that this was one of the best add-ons that has come to Minecraft for the Xbox 360.
The texture pack was far more advanced than I expected it to be. It showed how much effort had been put into making it as close to Skyrim as it could be, the only issue I have with the textures is the breaking block animation, I realize that this was to show the breaking of the blocks but after a little while it real
My Little Pony: Season 4 Episode 1+2 ReviewWe had been waiting for so long for this season and it’s finally here. I think I was a little too excited and it took me hours to calm myself down to write this review but here we go.
In this episode of season four the story follows Twilight Sparkle still trying to get accustom to her newly found wings and princess life. She is still worried about how her friends will treat her now that she had more duties to do. It was all calm until Celestia and Luna go missing which completely rocks Twilight's comfort zone as she is the only princess that can give orders to control the hectic country. After coming back to Ponyvile to find the everfree forest over running the town she automatically accuses Discord of the chaos but obvious he had nothing to do with it. Once Zecora comes into town after being run out of her own home she tells twilight that a potion could show her what needs to be done but it can only work with alicorn magic, which of course she is. The potion shows her the point
